When is Shani Mahadasha Bad 

• Shani is debilitated, or it is placed in 6th. 8th and 12th house in the birthchart  

• The planet is placed in its enemy rashi, Mesh Singh, or Vrishick. 

• Placed with its enemy graha such as Surya or Mangal 

• During Saturn dasha, if it is placed along with the Moon, it makes Vish Yog. This is an inauspicious yog in astrology.

• During this dasha, if Shani is placed along with Mangal in the 7th house in astrology, the person faces issues in marriage. In the 8th house, the person faces fatal injuries during Shani Dasha. 

• In the 11th house, the person faces profit loss if there is a Shani and Mangal conjunction. 

• In 2nd house in astrology, if there is a Shani and Mangal conjunction, the person faces speech issues and high expenses. 

• In the 12th house in astrology, if there is a Shani and Mangal conjunction, the person faces health issues.

Yes, one can wear Neelam stone or blue sapphire in Shani mahadasha if:

• Shani is the lord of the good house and is situated in Kendra or Trikon 

• Shani is debilitated or not situated in the 6th, 8th, or 12th house in astrology.
