Cushion cut as the name suggests is the one in which the gemstone looks like a cushion, hence it is also called the pillow cut. Basically, in this cut the shape is square and the corners are round like the couch cushions.
This cut have large facets which is why inclusions are more visible in it. However, there is one pro of the cushion cut as well that it enhances the fire of the stone more than the other cuts.
