Gemstone reports are proof that the gemstones that you are buying are real and authentic. The gemstones are expensive, beautiful and powerful. They only work when they are natural and are a good investment when authentic only. The best way to ensure that the gemstone you are buying is original is the gemological report that the gemstone dealers provide you with along with the gemstone.
These gem identification reports are from reputable laboratories like Gubelin, GRS, GIA, ICI, IGA, etc. But how to know for sure that the report you have is real and not fake?
Well, there is a way to verify it and make sure that you have the real gemological report gem certificate. Know it here.
How to Tell if a Gem is Real? - The best is through lab-certificate.
But How do you know if the gemstone lab certificate is real? Well, it is not a hard task to accomplish. You can check if the gemstone report provided by your gemstone seller is real or fake from your laptop or phone at your home.
The reputable laboratories all over the world provide these reports to the gemstone dealers as well as feed them in their data and provide it online. You just have to enter the report number in the feed.
You have to go to the official website of the laboratory, there you will get the option of gemstone report verification on the home page itself. You have to click the ‘gemstone report verification’ button and you will be redirected to a page where you will be asked to fill in the report number.
Once you will fill in the report number and click enter, your report will be displayed on the screen. If your report is not displayed or the screen says no data found, then your gemstone report is fake.

This is the lab certificate that we are providing with the gemstone to ensure the authenticity of the stone. As you can see in the image, the gem certificate was made on 13th December 2022. It is a natural sapphire of 0.51 carats in oval shape. The cut and dimensions are also mentioned in the gem identification report along with the origin and the signature from an authority of GRS.
